About this guide

ArenalVolcanoExperience.com is an independent visitor guide to Arenal Volcano day tours from San José and the other ways to see Arenal. We are not Go Tours Costa Rica, the operator of the tour called "Arenal Volcano Experience", nor any other tour operator, hot springs resort, national park authority or Viator. The site name describes the experience we write about rather than a business. We compare the bookable tours so you can pick the right day first time.

Facts on this site are checked against the operators' published itineraries, the live Viator listings (including hundreds of recent guest reviews) and official and local sources on Arenal Volcano National Park, La Fortuna and the hot springs. Prices and schedules move; when a listing and this page disagree, the checkout price wins.

The site is funded by affiliate commissions: when you book through a Viator link here, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend, including saying what a tour does not include and when a different option suits you better. Details on the affiliate disclosure page.
